I made friends with an artist yesterday. We made contacts over the internet and she came to visit my studio. Before she left, she requested I do a quick sketch of her. This sketch about 15-20mins, she was quite pleased with the result.

I have used a lyra brown skin tone chunky coloured pencil here on an 11" x 14" paper from a daler rowney sketchbook of 110 sheets.

I painted this portrait from a series of pictures I took of the guy that does my frames, he is master framer. I tried to capture the look in his eyes when he wants to know what you want this time.
