1. I was the only child form my mums 4 children that never went to the minders, my mum took care of me till I was able to take care of myself. So I was the last born PET of the house!

This is the 6th sitting of Dory.
I was able to get another 2 hours today of Dory, really enjoyed it, today has been the best day since I started. Hope to keep this going.

Number 18, Funny enough I started this piece in 2003 and it has been lying in the corner of my studio for years. I picked it up and "freshened" it up a bit and it becomes the 18th in my Afro series.
The emphasis of this series is on the variety and beauty of natural black hair.
