Its another week on Karin Juricks, "different strokes from different folks".

This time it was to produce a piece from Cloud Gate. I've never seen anything like this. A very interesting sculpture.

I worked this with gouache, watercolour, coloured pencils, wax crayons and biro.

Once again it is amazing to see the different interpretations of this piece!

RUSH HOUR IV accepted by the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, 2008 at the Mall Galleries

Phewwwwwwww submitting works into open exhibitions ain't no joke- YOU EITHER GET ACCEPTED or REJECTED, but I hear today that RUSH HOUR IV has been accepted into Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries.

The exhibition opens to the public on the 29th of October 2008 and closes on the 9th of November 2008.

Just completed this scene of people waiting, expecting...........In these times of credit crunch and the unpredictability of the financial world-these people represent the tense situations out there............WHAT NEXT? NOBODY KNOWS.................
