Still continuing to work from my sketches on the tube/train. This is the second piece in my Emotion series.
This is all about the mental state of people that can arise spontaneously rather than through conscious effort, it could be accompanied by physiological changes; a feeling: the emotions of joy, sorrow, reverence, hate, and love.. etc

It was one morning early this month as I was passing through London Bridge, that I caught a sight of this view-It was enchanting- I was only armed with my digital camera - and that was it! One shot and the painting is now done. Sometimes we see places we love but just can't get down to painting them, but this time I made sure this one wasn't going to elude me!

I am fascinated about black hair and this is one of my favourites- she happens to be a fashion designer- so there's a touch of her fabric in it!
But this series mainly concentrates on black hair and its beauty!

I am currently working on an Afro series - portraits that concentrate on black hair. This is a study of my wife.
I am experimenting with different coloured papers too for sketches.
I have used charcoal, coloured pencils and the handy putty rubber!
Sketches of Josh in September VI
Now Josh has stated Nursery 3 days a week I'll be with him at home for 2 days a week. Working for home with him ain't easy as he is full of energy!
Managed to get these sketches as he watched the Lion King yesterday!
To show how uneasy it was after working on paintings and taking care of him, my wife came back and took a picture of us, fast asleep!
