Another Exhibition piece. This one clearly shows the real LONDON WEATHER, rain, rain and rain!!! Sometimes its cats and dogs all day. That's the mood I have tried to capture here, with an old lady that just must go out in it to do her shopping! Typical!




This was done with Watercolour but as usual I end up adding the usual additives(coloured pencil, ink, wax crayon)

This is my entry into Karin Juricks DSFDF. The reference was in black and white and we were to introduce colour to bring out our own interpretations of it! I've been so busy lately and as usual didn't want to miss out so I did a quick Alla Prima of it. Wish I had time to do a more detailed version. I think it was a great exercise!

Another piece from my exhibition. This started off as a piece in gouache, then To get some spontaneous effects I had to introduce other media like crayons, ink and coloured pencils.



The mood here is that bright sunshine that radiates immediately after a Pure English Afternoon Down Pour! You can't predict the weather in London and this is what it is all about!

And finally here comes the last one! Those who have been following will remember the little boy, his mum and dad, now it just mum and dad. This one had to have a vignette feel to it so it wouldn't look overworked and after a few adjustments here and there, it's finally been verified!
