Some events in life are common but worth remembering. One of them happens to be the first time I cut Josh's hair. He was a bit bewildered and didn't have a clue what was going on. The job had to be done and I can't say I gave him a good hair cut but that was the first time and it is worth remembering. I have improved on my barbing skills since then.
I was divinely inspired to do this piece this morning while I knelt down with my little boy Josh in morning prayer. I let him pray and he prayed those simple lovely prayers that children so innocently pray about...bless mummy, bless daddy, bless mummy's baby(because Ruth my wife is pregnant) bless auntie Funmis baby(because my sister is pregnant too)....that's all I can remember.

I was just coming out of Charring Cross Station yesterday afternoon and I saw the National Portrait Gallery just peeping out in blazing sunlight from this dark shadowed road way, with so many people out and about as usual in the London west end. I instantly fell in love! Now I am happy I've caught with watercolour, carbon pencil, coloured pencil and gouache on Winsor and Newton Cotman paper...
