As I was on my way from the Bankside Gallery in SE1. I passed through an Alleyway near TATE MODERN and I discovered a rare sight: A guy playing a very strange looking instrument. It produced beautiful sounds with his cool tenor voice. The lighting under the Alley was great because there was also a fluorescent light which added to the drama.

For a very long time while commuting between Belvedere and London Bridge, a scene always caught my attention just a few seconds after passing Greenwich. It was an abandoned boat or should I say ship. I often tried to take pictures but the train was always too fast then I tried the recording the scene but I had a bit of difficulty with that too.

He has been on my back for a while and just before he decided to cut his beard he got me to sketch him. It took 30 minutes, he was kind of sleepy during the sitting, but it came out fine. I used black and brown coloured pencils on an A4 sheet of catridge paper.

This drawing of "Scouse" was done yesterday evening at work, he had been on my neck to sketch him for a while and this was the evening it had to be done.

I used a page from my A4 daler-Rowney sketch pad, HB Graphite pencil, Tissue, Putty rubber, Artificial light source, Radial Easel.

It took me approx 1 hour 30mins to complete and he was a very composed model, except for his occasional drifting...
