There's something that fascinates me about trees and sometimes I can't really explain what makes me love them. Maybe one of the reasons could be the animated features of the trunks and branches, especially the ones of those that are very old and have stood the storms and winds of life.

This makes number 13 in my current series on "Emotions". I have used this guy before as one of my models for this series. This is a contribution for Camille's sketchbook. This is all part of a 13 artist sketchbook exchange, called the Flying Moleskins pioneered by Dominique.

I have used my usual mixed media drawing materials for this.

This piece brings again my love for energy, movement and life of the urban scenes! This view is from under the theatre as opposed to the front of it. I just loved the angled lines and artificial lighting under the theatre against the natural light around the theatre with the burst of buzzing human movement that is so common around the West End in London.
